From 1784 to 1787, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart rented his apartment here at Domgasse 5, right behind St. Stephen's Cathedral. On three floors you can immerse yourself in the time and life of Mozart.
The discovery begins on the 3rd floor, where you can learn interesting facts about Vienna in the 18th century. The 2nd floor is dedicated to the music of Mozart and his three most important operas. On the 1st floor you are in Mozart's apartment and have the same view of Blutgasse as he did.
The event hall and a barrier-free toilet are located in the basement.
The best way to get to the Mozarthaus is via the passage at Stephansplatz. However, it is bumpy like in Mozart's time.
